100% Productive Training Time

The benefits of training on a bus driving simulator are now an established fact: decrease of 40% of the number of accidents, saving from 5 to 10% of fuel, increased customer care in service quality and a decrease of the drivers' stress levels. Moreover, training time is 100 percent productive because the time lost during training on a real vehicle (traffic, liaison route) disappears with the simulator.

The training on a simulator is recognized by the European Directive 2003/59 EC, into force since September 2008, which particularly imposes a periodic training of 35 hours every 5 years, for all the drivers of passengers carrying vehicles.

The driver easily finds his driving sensations on our simulators thanks to the steering wheel response and movement system piloted by a very realistic vehicle dynamics model. The simulators allow the driver to drive under difficult conditions, especially slippery roads. The routes are varied and consumption measured to ensure eco-friendly driving training. 

Beyond vehicle handling, the bus driver's main difficulty is in his interaction with an unpredictable environment: cars, two-wheeled vehicles, pedestrians and passengers. Our simulators faithfully model the outside world, and show it to the driver through high-grade computer-generated graphics. The behaviour of other road users relies on Artificial Intelligence principles and the trainer has user-friendly tools to create accident situations. The trainer can also pilot a pedestrian or a vehicle so as to easily create infinitely diverse situations.
