Simulator for Thermal Power Plants

Optimized Control Thanks to Simulation

Running a thermal power plant on a simulator makes it possible to understand processes that the plant relies on and to become familiar with unpredictable situations and sudden load variations, so as to find the most appropriate speed for productivity optimization while avoiding all risk of damage.

With this form of learning, operators confronted with stiff competition give themselves additional opportunities to improve their competitiveness and make their investments profitable.

Depending on the client's goals, we propose “basic principle” generic simulators, multi-functional simulators for learning professional practices, or replica simulators for finely tuned management of a facility. The installation is modelled in its entirety, and not piece by piece, to reproduce the real operation as closely as possible.

These dedicated “training” tools benefit from our 20 years of teaching expertise.

Reference:

We have built two 110 MW carbon power plant simulators for Slovenske Electrarne (Slovakia) based on two reference power plants: Novaky and Vojany.
Their modelling scope also includes treatment of pollutants, electrical supply and chemical phenomena.
