Success for SimTech France
The first edition of SimTech France, the dynamic simulation conference organized jointly by CORYS and RSI, took place from 28 to 30 March 2017 in Grenoble, France.
It met with great success thanks to quality interventions and the presentation of state of the art products .
Following the plenary conferences by CORYS, RSI and Bruno Fargeon, Manager of the modeling and simulation department at Airbus, 180 participants from 18 different countries were able to appreciate the richness of the presentations in the fields of Power, Transportation and Hydrocarbons.
Examples including intensive use of simulation for the training of SNCF drivers as part of an important recruitment plan, simulator validation of start-up procedures for a new nuclear power plant or the use of a virtual plant simulator in the study and start-up phases of a petrochemical plant triggered many rich exchanges.
The last day was devoted to technical demonstrations such as the Ethiopian railways replica simulator, simulation on demand, the engineering simulator dedicated to EDF modifications and the dynamic simulator of compressor studies.
SimTech France has proved its legitimacy while meeting customer expectations in terms of dynamic simulation and innovation.
