CORYS T.E.S.S. has developed advanced simulation technologies in the field of rail transport, which are the base of its success in the train driving simulator market. These technologies are today also available in form of tools for engineering in the transport industry. The full range of these software tools is integrated in the Corail workshop, today in its fourth generation.

Configuration tool for 3D track vision " Track Builder Tool "

Initially created for the fast configuration of 3D route data bases in computer-generated images for the training simulators, this tool was put on the market within a very user-friendly interface making it possible to a non-specialist to build 3D vision of railway tracks and railway infrastructures in computer-generated images. The advantages of this tool compared to standard tools of virtual reality, are the availability of the dedicated objects libraries and high level models offering a great automation of the process of data base construction. Moreover, the built track can directly be used for dynamic study of travelling train. The forces in the train and on the track are computed in real time as a function of position and speed of the train.

This tool is adapted perfectly to the prototyping and parameter setting of track under construction and the simulation of the rail traffic according to the signal infrastructure.

Capacity analysis tool SAMURAIL

This tool is intended for a detailed study of the signalling configuration of a rail network and of the various scenarios of routing. SAMURAIL is innovating by the speed of the configuration of the infrastructure element even for infrastructures of significant complexity. High level functions make it possible to generate a realistic rail traffic based on timetables, which can be imported from existing data bases.

SAMURAIL as well reproduces all the characteristics of railway signalling in normal situation as in degraded situation.

Tests bench for train BATIR

The test bench BATIR was developed to offer to the railway operators and to the manufacturers of trains a cheap environment of test and validation of the electronic equipment before the integration in a train.

BATIR makes use of Corail environment simulation and of flexible I/O system connected to the equipment to test. The system of simulation accurately reproduces the functions of the train interacting with the tested equipment. Sequencing of test functions makes it possible to automate all the test procedures. This test bench was developed jointly with ISIS-MPP.
