Nouveau train, nouveau simulateur pour Amtrak

Le simulateur réplique du train à grande vitesse d’Alstom Nextgen Acela21 est opérationnel dans le centre de formation de l’opérateur américain Amtrak à Wilmington, Delaware, Etats-Unis.

La formation des conducteurs va pouvoir commencer avant même la mise en service du train prévue en 2021.

Ce nouveau simulateur réplique pleine échelle représente le corridor Nord Est avec 400 miles en images de synthèse dernière génération. Il remplace le simulateur réplique Acela installé par CORYS, il y a plus de 20 ans.
