India : new simulator commissioning

GE Diesel Locomotive Pvt. Ltd has taken delivery of its new full scope train driving simulator with motion system. The simulator was installed and tested in its brand new Diesel maintenance shed in Roza, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Using the driving realism of this simulator including several thousand kilometres of Indian network lines, GE began training Indian Railways’ drivers for this new rolling stock in parallel with the commissioning of the first locomotives.
