New UK freight customer chooses CORYS

The UK’s fast-growing Direct Rail Services (DRS) has selected CORYS to supply ETCS simulators to support its flexible approach to driver training.

The freight rail company will be equipped with a Cab Replica Simulator of a Class 68 locomotive with ETCS, eight Ultra Light Simulators, CORYS’ UK ETCS module, simulated lines developed with several UK freight operators, and the latest updates to the UK reference design specifications.

The simulators are slated for delivery in 2025. CORYS will then provide ongoing maintenance under a three-year contract to ensure the DRS simulator fleet continues to provide maximum value.
