Marking the milestone with the technology shaping the next generation of driver training
CORYS marked its tenth participation at InnoTrans in 2026. As the show takes place every two years, this milestone represents twenty years of continuous engagement with the international rail community at the sector’s largest trade fair.
Technology on show
This year’s stand highlighted two areas of CORYS simulation expertise.
The DB NL simulator was the centrepiece of the stand and offered a view of the direction in which rail simulation is heading. Equipped with ETCS and designed for cross-border operation, it also integrates eye tracking and artificial intelligence. Together, these technologies give instructors an objective, data-driven assessment of trainee performance, supporting more consistent and informed evaluation.
CORYS also presented its light rail vehicle (LRV) tram simulators. Following a series of recent tender successes, these solutions are gaining recognition among operators across the network, and the show provided an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities first-hand.
Dialogue with the rail community
Beyond the technology, InnoTrans remains above all a meeting place. The CORYS team welcomed existing and new customers, prospective clients, suppliers and partners, and long-standing contacts from across the industry. Hands-on time with the simulators helped turn early discussions on training strategy into concrete projects.
Bringing drivers, trainers and engineers together around the same simulator generates the most valuable insight. Feedback from the stand goes directly to the CORYS engineering and product teams, keeping our solutions aligned with operational needs.
Looking ahead
CORYS thanks all visitors, customers and partners who joined us at InnoTrans 2026, and the CORYS team for their commitment throughout the show. After ten editions and twenty years, we look forward to continuing the conversation at the next InnoTrans.
