From October 7 to 9 in Grenoble, CORYS brought together 230 participants for the 2025 edition of SimTech, the event dedicated to simulation technologies.
With 24 presentations and 14 technical demonstrations, this edition made a lasting impression through the quality of exchanges and the exploration of the sector’s latest innovations.
Captain Hans Härting (Lufthansa) presented the aviation sector’s approach, which places the human factor at the heart of simulator training: communication, cooperation, and mutual trust. A method that could inspire other industries.
Nikola Jancovicova and Franck Debaene (Epic Games) demonstrated how their 3D Unreal Engine, initially created for video games, is now revolutionizing all industrial sectors.
The event confirmed the spectacular revival of nuclear power with EPR2 programs, SMRs, and next-generation reactors. In the railway sector, simulators now integrate photorealistic 3D images. Simulation is also conquering new domains: hydrogen, batteries, waste treatment, and materials chemistry. The objective: to improve productivity, reduce emissions, and optimize industrial processes.
Artificial intelligence, eye tracking, and virtual reality are enhancing the capabilities of training simulators and opening up new perspectives.
The next edition of SimTech France is already scheduled for 2029, promising new discoveries and innovations in the exciting world of industrial simulation.
