CORYS wins contract with GTS for 12 Elizabeth line Driver Training Simulators

CORYS has been awarded a new contract with GTS, operator of the Elizabeth line on behalf of Transport for London, for the supply of 12 Class 345 Aventra Ultra-Light Simulators dedicated to driver training.

The simulators will be installed across two dedicated training facilities, providing drivers with a high-fidelity training environment that covers the full operational complexity of the Elizabeth line. Each simulator replicates CBTC, ETCS Level 2, and conventional AWS/TPWS signalling systems across 35 miles of simulated route.

Organised in classrooms of 6 ULS stations managed through a dedicated Instructor Station, the setup enables collaborative group training scenarios, supporting efficient and effective driver competency development.

This contract reinforces CORYS’s position as the leading train simulator supplier in the UK, where over 200 driving simulators are already in service across the network.
