KRAO invests in new ETCS simulators

This year CORYS will supply 6 new compact simulators to KRAO for the railway training centre in Kouvola, Finland.

These diesel train driving simulators will integrate the simulation of a new radio, a shunting radio remote control and the European Train Control System, ETCS Baseline 3 (Level 2).

ETCS is becoming a major driver training issue and KRAO, like many other rail operators, have chosen to implement CORYS ETCS driver training technology to address their training needs.

Thomas Denis, CORYS Account Manager said:
“This new contract with KRAO demonstrates the reliability of our modelling of safety systems such as JKV and ETCS that we integrate in our driving simulators.”

The accuracy of our train simulators is the result of our 30 year experience and working closely with over 100 customers worldwide.
