RATP simulators renovated and operational

CORYS has completed the renovation of all RATP’s driving simulators at all the Paris operator’s sites.

Despite the containment linked to the Covid-19; the CORYS and RATP teams were able to complete the final phases of remote commissioning of the simulators.

New PCs have been deployed, all computer generated images have been switched to Matrix technology, and the functionalities of the Octys system and scenario management have been updated.

The full scope simulator’s “edge blending” projection system with the two projectors has been replaced by a structure with five 55″ vertical displays with very thin edges.

Following the parallel set up of five new compact simulators, RATP now has a fleet of 23 compact operational simulators and a full scope simulator to train its subway drivers.
