As part of the COCASE contract for the renovation of EDF’s nuclear power plant simulator fleet, CORYS reached another important milestone in February 2026 with the factory acceptance test for the PP4 (1300 MW) stage concerning the Ten-Year Inspection 4 (VD4) of the Digital Control Room (SDCN).
This acceptance is based on EDF’s ALISE simulation workshop and builds on the work already successfully completed on the 900 MW (CP2, CP1) and 1300 MW (P4) stages. It confirms the gradual and controlled ramp-up of the renovation programme.
The rest of the schedule remains on track: the version will be delivered to EDF DIPDE Marseille in April, before delivery to the full-scale simulator at the Cattenom power plant in July 2026.
This milestone illustrates CORYS’ commitment to fulfilling its contractual obligations and providing EDF with high-fidelity simulation tools for training its nuclear power plant operators.
