CORYS has secured a contract to supply 10+1 ultra-light simulators to RATP Dev, with delivery scheduled for summer 2026.
Following a project kick-off meeting held on February 4th, CORYS will provide train driving simulators equipped with a regional passenger train and 100 kilometres of track representing the French national railway system.
The contract comes as RATP Dev prepares to operate train services in the Normandy region starting July 2027, having won the regional concession in late December 2025. The simulators will enable RATP Dev to train drivers ahead of the operational start date.
Each simulator will be delivered with two transport cases for easy mobility, and will integrate multimedia training sequences, multiple-choice questionnaires (MCQs) and automatic assessment of the driver’s operational practices to enhance the learning experience.
The ultra-light design allows for flexible deployment across training locations, supporting RATP Dev’s driver preparation programme.
