First compact simulator for ETMF

ETMF (Railway Equipment Transportation Company) has ordered its first CORYS train driving simulator.

This compact and mobile simulator will train ETMF drivers on freight trains and work trains. It will be delivered with generic lines and GSM-R radio.

Jean-Luc Thomassin, ETMF Security and Project Director said
“This major investment will enable us to optimise drivers training. Located in Charleville-Mezieres, our training centre will fully meet the standards of the Public Establishment in Railway Safety.”

The ETMF instructors will be operational on the simulator before the end of 2015. Moreover, in 2016 ETMF will sell training slots on the simulator to railway companies who do not have a training centre.
